Description

  • Own a defined territory and build a proactive pipeline through outbound outreach across email, phone, and social channels.
  • Qualify opportunities through deep discovery using frameworks such as MEDDPICC to focus on high-probability deals.
  • Deliver tailored value stories and live demos that connect Elastic’s Search, Observability, and Security offerings to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customers to create close plans, manage the CRM, and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Lead contract, pricing, and executive negotiation discussions to close multi-year consumption commitments.
  • Position Elastic as the Search AI platform of choice by discussing cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deal cycles and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience closing complex SLED Enterprise SaaS deals in a quota-carrying role.
  • Consistent overperformance in a consumption-based or usage-model selling environment.
  • Experience applying MEDDPICC or a similar qualification framework.
  • Proven ability to deliver executive-level presentations and product demos tied to measurable business value.
  • Track record of negotiating and closing multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margin.
  • Comfort discussing observability, security, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong collaborative mindset and coachability when working with internal teams.
  • Genuine interest in open-source communities and the Elastic model; experience selling or advocating in an OSS context is a plus.
  • Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with observability use cases such as logs, metrics, and traces, or with security analytics such as SIEM/XDR, is preferred.
