Description

  • Own a defined enterprise territory and build pipeline through proactive outbound outreach.
  • Qualify opportunities through deep discovery to assess pain, business impact, budget, and decision criteria.
  • Craft tailored value stories and deliver live demos tied to customer outcomes.
  • Build mutual close plans with customers and maintain accurate CRM forecasting.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations to secure multi-year consumption commitments.
  • Position Elastic’s Search, Observability, and Security offerings as a Search AI platform of choice.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience closing complex enterprise SaaS deals.
  • Consistent quota-carrying success in a consumption-based or usage-model environment.
  • Experience using MEDDPICC or an equivalent qualification framework.
  • Track record of delivering executive presentations and product demos that connect capabilities to business value.
  • History of closing multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margin.
  • Comfort discussing observability, security, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Genuine interest in open-source communities and the Elastic model.
  • Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability use cases or security analytics use cases such as SIEM/XDR is a plus.
