Description

  • Meet sales targets by growing revenue and market share across assigned territories and market segments.
  • Develop leads, acquire new customers, and maintain key accounts to strengthen customer commitment.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through market development, funneling, and account planning.
  • Engage existing and prospective customers through direct sales and sales partnering to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate events that educate target audiences on Dymax technologies, products, and services.
  • Develop and execute territory account sales plans aligned with opportunity pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Cold-call prospects, respond to sales inquiries, and research and analyze sales opportunities.
  • Prepare professional proposals and quotes, deliver presentations, and follow up to win business.
  • Coordinate with global key account teams to capture in-territory opportunities and route non-key leads to internal sales partners.
  • Identify customer needs at key accounts and work with Business Development and R&D to create product development opportunities.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of related sales experience, preferably in custom adhesive, chemical, coatings/paint, medical/pharmaceutical/food manufacturing, or packaging/dispensing environments.
  • Ability to handle and operate equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, detail-oriented, and committed to following through.
  • Positive and professional attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to actively listen, empathize, and present to potential and current customers.
