Description

  • Architect and implement infrastructure for critical system migrations with uptime and reliability as priorities.
  • Design, build, and maintain tooling and processes that help SaaS products scale on AWS.
  • Partner with developers to improve application reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain core infrastructure components that support high availability and security.
  • Drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams on infrastructure decisions.
  • Participate in the weekly on-call rotation as last line of defense for production services.
  • Lead root cause analysis during incidents and drive durable fixes.
  • Support automation efforts that reduce manual toil across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role.
  • Strong system design and architecture experience.
  • Hands-on cloud infrastructure administration experience, preferably with AWS; Azure or GCP also acceptable.
  • Deep knowledge of networking and security at an engineering level.
  • Experience with AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Production experience with Terraform or Terragrunt.
  • Experience with Chef or Puppet.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience with observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Ability to read Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with ECS or EKS (preferred).
  • Exposure to SOC2 or secure-by-default practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with L7 load balancing (preferred).
  • Remote work from anywhere in the US.
