Description

  • Own and lead a portfolio of strategic North America-based partnerships, including a key financial services relationship during its transition period.
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for senior partner stakeholders and maintain strong external relationships.
  • Oversee the API Partner Program, including day-to-day leadership and long-term strategy for scalability.
  • Define partner referral models and monetize API touchpoints to grow the program into a revenue-generating channel.
  • Establish success metrics, track partnership performance, and lead regular business reviews.
  • Build referral loops that generate high-intent leads for Sales and GTM teams.
  • Manage partner portfolio commercial outcomes, including P&L ownership, revenue targets, and referral KPIs.
  • Develop scalable playbooks, incentive structures, and governance frameworks for the partner ecosystem.
  • Directly manage partnership team members, set goals, and provide coaching and performance support.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Operations on integrations, negotiations, renewals, and execution.
  • Identify risks early, escalate issues appropriately, and drive resolution plans to protect revenue and partner satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise or financial institution partnerships with senior external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members and driving performance.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-impact situations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound business judgment.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Executive presence and clear communication with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in API partnerships or channel partnerships is a plus.
  • Experience building or scaling partnership programs is preferred.
