Description

  • Build and maintain a self-sourced pipeline with 3-4x quota coverage through targeted outbound prospecting.
  • Generate 10-14 net-new first meetings per month using email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Research, prioritize, and pursue named enterprise accounts using firmographic and intent data.
  • Lead enterprise discovery and qualification by mapping buying committees, identifying quantified business problems, and applying MEDDIC.
  • Build account-specific ROI models and deliver tailored solution presentations tied to stakeholder priorities.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, mutual close plans, procurement, legal, security, RFPs, and competitive bake-offs through to close.
  • Develop executive relationships at the VP and C-suite level and run strategic briefings independently.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Solutions, Customer Success, legal, and leadership to progress deals and scope pilots or POCs appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly forecasts, and proactively flag deal risk.
  • Track competitive intelligence, log win/loss data, and share buyer insights with product marketing and the broader team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of successful consultative and solution selling experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline without reliance on inbound leads or SDR support.
  • Experience running multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with 2-6 month sales cycles in the $50K-$200K+ ACV range.
  • Comfort engaging VP- and C-suite-level buyers as a peer.
  • Familiarity with a formal sales methodology such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, or similar.
  • Strong CRM discipline; Salesforce proficiency required.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, and webinar tools such as Teams and WebEx.
  • Ability to learn SaaS products and experience with e-business transactions.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, ownership, curiosity, confidence, tenacity, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to forecast sales revenue accurately in Salesforce.com.
  • Genuine curiosity about how construction businesses operate; construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Building Product Manufacturers and/or data-as-a-service preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Expected travel of 5%-10% and ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental US.
