Description

  • Build core product features for Dataiku DSS across one of several engineering themes, including data preparation, AI and machine learning, data consumption, visualization, MLOps, platform, or AI governance.
  • Develop tools for data integration, transformation, cataloging, notebooks, SQL workbenches, APIs, and related workflows.
  • Add and improve AI-enabled product capabilities, including LLM-based features, machine learning model integrations, and experimentation support.
  • Create and enhance collaborative workspaces, dashboards, charts, and other interfaces that help users explore data and surface insights.
  • Develop high-performance visualization features, including new chart types and dashboarding improvements.
  • Build backend capabilities for automating ML model retraining, monitoring, deployment, and collaboration.
  • Optimize platform scalability, latency, database support, cloud integrations, and processing engines.
  • Develop features for AI compliance, policy enforcement, and governance across connected systems.
  • Collaborate with research, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative product capabilities.
  • Contribute to a product used to operationalize AI in enterprise environments.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software engineering and building a real product.
  • Hiring is open at junior, mid, and senior levels.
  • A passion for combining backend performance with strong frontend user experience.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with engineering challenges at scale.
  • Experience with one or more of the listed technologies, depending on the team: Java, Python, Angular, AngularJS, React, Node.js, Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, AWS, Azure, GCP, PostgreSQL, D3.js, ECharts, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Ability to work onsite/hybrid from the London office or fully remote from anywhere in the UK.
  • Technical assessment as part of the hiring process, with a home test or live coding option.
  • Experience with data, machine learning, or analytics products is relevant for the role (implied by the scope of the work).
