Description

  • Collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders who built the applications.
  • Review and finalize code from citizen developers for React/JavaScript frontends and FastAPI backends.
  • Handle security compliance and prepare applications for enterprise security review.
  • Deploy applications to AWS EKS and manage ongoing operations.
  • Support applications after deployment to keep them running reliably.
  • Work across multiple parallel workstreams at the same time.

Requirements

  • Strong Python and FastAPI experience, with the ability to work in someone else’s codebase without full context.
  • Comfortable reading and fixing React/JavaScript code.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with Kubernetes in production, specifically EKS.
  • Familiarity with Claude API, MCP connectivity, and agent architectures.
  • Security awareness in large enterprise environments, including spotting data leaks, unauthorized access points, and IAM misconfigurations.
  • Experience reviewing and hardening code written by non-engineers before production.
  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability for final deployment quality.
  • Fluent English and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with citizen developer or internal tooling projects is a plus.
  • Security background, including OWASP basics and secret management, is preferred.
  • Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform is preferred.
