Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.
  • Own the QA process across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Work closely with CI/CD pipelines to support early detection of issues.
  • Maintain test environments, staging configurations, and data management strategies.
  • Develop and lead the adoption of automation initiatives for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure testing aligns with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Solid experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare data standards is preferred.
  • Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform is preferred.
  • Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6 is preferred.
  • Security testing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Ability to work US hours (PST) is preferred.
