Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound prospecting strategy for targeted Fortune 100 accounts.
  • Drive a strategic, multi-threaded sales process across multiple stakeholders and product suites.
  • Cross-sell Datadog solutions and navigate complex enterprise accounts.
  • Create, own, and grow assigned accounts while demonstrating the value of the Datadog platform.
  • Build a deep understanding of each customer’s business and identify the drivers behind opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing and solutions engineering to support prospecting efforts.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Build customer validation, determine the steps needed to close business, and maintain strong forecasting accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling into Fortune 100 companies and winning new logos.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+ with average deal sizes of $100K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a personal methodology.
  • Experience working for an innovative tech company, with SaaS or IT infrastructure preferred.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong resourcefulness.
  • Coachable and able to adapt your sales motion as needed.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites within your region and other regions as business needs require.
