Description

  • Meet with CIOs, IT executives, line-of-business leaders, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow a single existing enterprise account while also pursuing new account opportunities.
  • Identify and close quick wins while progressing longer, more complex sales cycles.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based sales approach to create customer value.
  • Promote Databricks’ enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate the appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Build and execute success plans internally at Databricks and with the customer account.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction across assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas.
  • Field sales experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales.
  • Experience managing large, complex life sciences accounts is preferred.
  • Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and key decision makers.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex cloud technologies.
  • Success closing both new accounts and existing accounts.
  • Understanding of Spark and big data is preferred.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company and navigating that environment successfully.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Passion for cloud technologies.
