Description

  • Prospect into large State, Local, and Education organizations and run an efficient sales process.
  • Maintain, build, and own relationship maps for the territory, including existing and aspirational contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and value drivers.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large SLED enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth within the assigned territory.
  • Use resourcefulness to solve complex customer challenges and advance opportunities.
  • Identify the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation.
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency across opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience, including field selling within an assigned SLED region.
  • 2-3+ years of SLED or government sales experience.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+ with average deal sizes of $100K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a defined methodology.
  • Experience working for an innovative tech company; SaaS or IT infrastructure experience preferred.
  • Experience selling into large SLED organizations and winning new logos.
  • Ability to sit up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client sites.
  • Ability to travel by auto, train, or air up to 70% of the time.
