Description

  • Assess the territory and develop an effective account execution strategy.
  • Identify and activate new accounts to meet account activation targets.
  • Generate pipeline and manage full sales cycles for new business opportunities.
  • Exceed activity and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Identify new use case opportunities and demonstrate value to prospects.
  • Promote the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across all accounts.
  • Prospect continuously for new use case opportunities within new accounts.

Requirements

  • Experience penetrating net-new accounts, executing first use cases, growing initial consumption, and closing deals in a direct sales role.
  • Experience in a software sales development role with a consumption sales motion.
  • Exposure to the software industry and a basic understanding of selling SaaS, Big Data, and business value.
  • Basic understanding of data platforms and cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets or quotas.
  • Success closing new accounts while also working existing accounts.
  • Passion for cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to understand products in depth and communicate value clearly to customers and partners.
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage customer and pipeline information (preferred).
