Description

  • Identify, manage, and close new business opportunities within Acquia’s account and prospect base.
  • Build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across target organizations.
  • Assess prospect needs and turn client feedback into strategies that support new business and reduce competitive risk.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and evaluate their strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to create win-win solutions.
  • Work with Product Development, Account Management, and Project Management teams to support implementation and account growth.
  • Manage full-cycle sales as an individual contributor.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and subject matter experts to drive sales opportunities.
  • Partner with demand generation and marketing teams to build pipeline.
  • Travel to client meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong sales or client origination experience, preferably with CMS experience.
  • Experience negotiating large strategic deals across prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model.
  • Confident presentation and executive-level communication skills with the ability to present to C-suite audiences.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly and adapt to changing business and customer demands.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with drive, initiative, urgency, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Interest in aggressive career growth.
  • Passion, creativity, and an upbeat, high-performing attitude.
