Description

  • Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple enterprise clients.
  • Define and direct the technical strategy for the largest and most important accounts.
  • Lead customers through evaluation and adoption of Databricks as part of their transformation strategy.
  • Implement account-level technical plans in close alignment with overall account strategy.
  • Build and develop technical champions within customer accounts.
  • Align technical approaches around Databricks solutions.
  • Work with Enterprise Account Executives and hands-on resources to support proofs of concept and product demonstrations.
  • Provide structured mentorship and guidance to other team members.
  • Form and lead virtual teams to achieve success within the account.
  • Engage executives and influencers to drive decision-maker alignment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a pre-sales professional with a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven.
  • Experience working with very large global accounts, including accounts over $1M ARR.
  • Strong background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership.
  • Technical knowledge in big data, data science, and cloud.
  • Understanding of the relevance and application of ML & AI across enterprise use cases.
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
  • Ability to establish and lead virtual teams to success within an account.
  • Ability to build relationships with executives and influencers.
  • Ability to present a convincing point of view to senior decision-makers.
  • Databricks certification is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $219,100 to $301,300 USD.
