Description

  • Analyze signed contracts and completed orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with bookings and revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Renewals, Collections, Legal, Revenue, finance transformation, IT, and engineering teams on order-to-cash processes and improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records in ERP and billing platforms to support billing, commissions, forecasting, and revenue recognition.
  • Execute month-end accounting and reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial close.
  • Document policies, controls, and procedures for existing and new business models.
  • Identify and implement process improvement, automation, and best practices for efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide audit support for control and substantive testing and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Support process and system implementation and enhancement projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Perform regular reviews and audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and deliver accurate, timely results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of revenue operational accounting experience.
  • Strong accounting background with experience in revenue operational accounting and financial close processes.
  • Strong understanding of usage-based billing models and associated financial processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and payment processing platforms is required.
  • Experience with a global ERP such as NetSuite and Salesforce is required.
  • High analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, generate reports, and perform complex reconciliations using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work in the PST time zone.
