Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models for headcount planning, quota planning, revenue forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Lead model-building work end to end, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and analytics teams to translate planning needs into scalable solutions.
  • Improve existing models with a focus on performance, usability, auditability, maintainability, governance, and SOX/control practices.
  • Build and enhance inbound and outbound data integrations between Anaplan and other business systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement practical fixes to reduce future risk.
  • Use Hex, agentic coding tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve analysis, documentation, QA, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a senior technical partner by communicating updates, flagging risks early, and creating documentation and training that supports adoption.

Requirements

  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder with 2+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales operations, finance, planning systems, analytics, business systems, or a related field.
  • Experience owning or leading development for planning, forecasting, reporting, or operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of Anaplan model design, data flows, user access, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound data integrations between business systems.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and foundational SQL knowledge.
  • Comfort with modern analytics and automation tools, and willingness to incorporate AI into day-to-day workflows.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions to ambiguous problems in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Anaplan Solution Architect is preferred.
  • Experience with Workato or similar ETL, iPaaS, or workflow automation tools is preferred.
  • Experience with Anaplan Data Orchestrator is preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or another CRM platform is preferred.
  • Experience supporting headcount, quota, revenue, sales capacity, or territory planning is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring other builders, analysts, or business partners on planning systems and best practices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales operations, finance, customer success, or go-to-market planning processes is preferred.

  • Annual cash compensation range of $116,000 to $174,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
