Description

  • Generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders using Salesforce.com.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support both new business and renewal business in a quota-bearing sales environment.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, outside Sales Executives, Accounting, and Contracts teams.
  • Manage Salesforce.com opportunities to maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.
  • Attend regional forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Suggest pricing and payment solutions that balance customer needs with company pricing policies.
  • Coordinate regional marketing events, including vendor sponsorships, invitations, and venue arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain product, industry, vendor, and service knowledge to support customer needs.
  • Manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines while streamlining processes across teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Background in the IT industry preferred.
  • Prior experience with CRM software required; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
  • Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience preferred.
  • Strong math skills with the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.
  • Self-motivated with strong prioritization, multitasking, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work well on a team, use good judgment, and handle ambiguity with a positive attitude and strong drive for results.

  • Expected compensation range of $50,000 to $100,000.
