Description

  • Work with cross-functional teams to build Databricks solutions for customers in consumer and distribution verticals.
  • Assess assigned accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create value for enterprise growth accounts.
  • Navigate both technical stakeholder and business buyer conversations across the full sales cycle.
  • Identify and secure technical wins to grow consumption through long and complex sales cycles.
  • Track customer information, including projects, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce and related tools.
  • Map whitespace opportunities across the territory and identify the most viable use cases in each account.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partner teams to maximize ecosystem impact.
  • Build value in customer engagements to support successful negotiations through close.
  • Deliver technical and business results using the Databricks Intelligence Platform.

Requirements

  • Strong closing experience with a record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling cloud data and AI software, ideally connected to open source technology.
  • Track record of generating, developing, and accelerating pipeline through consistent high activity.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and playbooks such as ICP, territory and account tiering, MEDDPICC, Powerbase, and value selling.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-growing organization.
  • Experience driving adoption of usage-based consumption services (SaaS).
  • Experience co-selling with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud teams.
  • Ability to co-develop business cases and gain support from C-level executives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
