Description

  • Build territory and customer base by selling the company’s web-based platform for customs clearance, document storage, and shipment visibility.
  • Win, retain, and develop small to large business customers through hunting activity and use of marketing tools and support.
  • Grow revenue from existing customers by developing new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies.
  • Meet volume growth targets and quota goals within the assigned area of the business.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers by understanding their business and market.
  • Recommend solutions based on customer needs using industry knowledge.
  • Organize and support customer workshops on topics such as import brokerage compliance regulations and new product offerings.
  • Perform all parts of the sales process and maintain accurate CRM records daily.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, or 3 years of operations experience.
  • Experience with logistics processes, systems, and solutions.
  • Experience with customs brokerage.
  • Solid PC operational knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of international commercial transportation, including air and ocean freight.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
