Description

  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Build a steady pipeline by prospecting and adding new leads on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles with 6- to 12-month purchasing timelines.
  • Move opportunities through the full sales process and engage D2L resources as needed to support success.
  • Stay current on industry trends and speak knowledgeably about the education sector in the assigned region.
  • Maintain and update sales information in the CRM system.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
  • Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Assist with contract negotiations.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues across Marketing, Professional Services, Finance, Engineering, and other teams.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of sales experience in eLearning, education, or complex solution software sales.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and working with top decision-makers in educational institutes and universities.
  • Knowledge of the eLearning or education industry preferred.
  • Proven record of successfully achieving assigned quotas.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ accounts at any given time.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and presentation skills.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Ability to propose, present, and discuss solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
  • Ability to travel 50%+.
  • Fluent in English.
