Description

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reusable, efficient frontend and backend application components.
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate internal systems and third-party applications.
  • Implement asynchronous processing and support distributed application architecture where required.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly, high-performing web interfaces and support component-based UI development.
  • Design and maintain relational database structures, write optimized SQL queries, and improve performance through indexing and query optimization.
  • Implement authentication and authorization solutions, secure coding practices, and performance/scalability improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams, participate in code reviews, develop tests, maintain documentation, and contribute to Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
  • Strong experience with Java 11+ and core Java concepts including OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling.
  • Experience with JSP/Servlet, Thymeleaf, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with responsive web development and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind CSS.
  • React.js experience is highly desirable, and familiarity with Webpack, Vite, and npm/yarn is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in MySQL or PostgreSQL, schema design, query optimization, indexing, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, and familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, asynchronous processing, messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, and security practices including OAuth2, JWT, MFA, secure coding, OWASP, data validation, and encryption.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience in SaaS, platform technology, high-growth technology environments, or workflow-driven/customer-facing platforms is highly preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary up to Php 125,000, subject to client discretion based on skills and experience.
  • 100% remote work arrangement.
  • Independent Contractor Agreement.
  • Working hours aligned to Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm AEST (7am–4pm Philippine Standard Time).
  • Recruitment process includes multiple client interviews and assessments.
