Description

  • Investigate and resolve front-end and back-end issues reported through customer and user-support tickets.
  • Triage issues by severity, address urgent cases, and communicate resolutions to support and reporting teams.
  • Document recurring problems through troubleshooting guides and FAQs.
  • Collaborate with customer support and product teams to reproduce issues and provide data corrections or workarounds.
  • Assist with production bug investigations, root-cause analysis, and fixes.
  • Use logging, monitoring, and database tools to trace technical issues.
  • Improve system stability, performance, and code maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and post-launch retrospectives.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and blockers while taking on increasing ownership of modules and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate from a U.S. university with a BS or MS, or within 1–2 years of graduation.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or PHP.
  • Understanding of HTTP, RESTful API design, frontend-backend interaction, and relational databases.
  • Basic SQL and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to read documentation, debug systematically, and complete assigned work.
  • Reliable communication skills, including proactively surfacing problems and following through on commitments.
  • Experience with React, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, or Redis preferred.
  • AI/LLM project experience, Shopify app development, SaaS experience, or SEO tooling experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, cloud services, GitHub, or AI-assisted development tools preferred.
  • Internship, open-source, personal project, competitive programming, or Mandarin communication experience preferred.
