Description

  • Design and develop backend services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Build low-latency API services and integrations with external platforms through SDKs.
  • Develop secure multi-tenant environments using PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security.
  • Write raw SQL and manage database schema migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and development workflows.
  • Implement strong testing practices, including integration, database, failure-mode, and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality solutions and honor project commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and low-latency services in AWS.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, Row-Level Security, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Experience developing secure multi-tenant systems and SDK integrations.
  • Professional experience with React and solid full-stack development knowledge.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and AI coding assistants.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours and demonstrate strong ownership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and client focus.
  • Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models preferred.
  • Experience with Fastify, schema-first validation tools such as Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains preferred.
