Description

  • Drive new business through a mix of self-sourced outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Run discovery calls and qualify opportunities using MEDDPICC or a similar sales framework.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial contact through close.
  • Partner with SDR and BDR support on account targeting, sales strategy, prospecting progress, and meeting scheduling.
  • Schedule and deliver online demos for qualified prospects.
  • Uncover customer business needs and map Customer.io’s solutions and features to those needs.
  • Own sales metrics and report on trends, revenue, costs, and administrative commitments for management.
  • Build pipeline consistently through outbound motion and self-sourced opportunities.
  • Explain and demonstrate product value through value-based selling.
  • Use AI tools for prospecting, research, call preparation, and follow-up.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a top performer in a Senior Account Executive role or similar within B2B SaaS.
  • Experience selling marketing technology products is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and goals.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar sales qualification framework.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools as part of an active sales workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and engaging phone presence.
  • Ability to identify customer business needs and recommend relevant solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Creative problem-solving ability to understand customer needs and find the best solution.

  • Starting compensation of $115,000 base plus $115,000 variable, for $230,000 OTE USD, depending on experience and market adjustment.
