Description

  • Manage the post-indication lifecycle of agents and opportunities to maximize conversion to bound premium.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agents after indication and communicate requirements, timelines, and expectations.
  • Enforce timeline discipline and provide clear next steps to keep deals moving and prevent opportunities from stalling.
  • Validate submission completeness and confirm agent intent before advancing deals.
  • Disqualify non-viable or low-quality opportunities early to protect underwriting capacity.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy across indicated, quoted, and pending bind stages.
  • Provide weekly pipeline aging and conversion insights to leadership.
  • Support renewal retention efforts to improve retention conversion rates.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales operations.
  • Experience in the insurance or MGA sector, preferably in commercial auto, trucking, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with underwriting.
  • Assertive and decisive communication style without being abrasive.
  • Strong commercial judgment to know when to push, pause, or disqualify a deal.
  • Radical ownership of converting indicated opportunities into bound premium.
  • Process-oriented approach with the ability to use structure and discipline to improve outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HubSpot and Excel or Google Sheets to track KPIs and provide pipeline insights.

  • Base salary range of $61,200 to $85,000 per year.
