Description

  • Provide technical expertise, competitive differentiation, and strategic advice throughout the sales process.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations that connect Coupa’s capabilities to measurable business value.
  • Develop ROI narratives and persuasive sales stories for executive audiences.
  • Support the creation of RFP responses and sales collateral, including presentations, documents, and videos.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Coupa’s unified suite of spend management applications and how to configure them.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide solution insight to account executives and other solutions consulting colleagues.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects that help increase sales transaction speed, deal size, and customer adoption.
  • Take ownership of execution issues and apply solution-oriented thinking to improve outcomes.
  • Work remotely while being available for travel to prospects, customers, and a local Coupa office.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience supporting the sales or implementation of enterprise SaaS for business functions such as financial accounting, customer management, or sales automation.
  • Experience with one Business Spend Management application or solution, such as eProcurement, eSourcing, Invoice Automation, Contract Management, Expense Management, Payment Automation, or Treasury Management.
  • Experience with more than one Business Spend Management application is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including slide design in PowerPoint or Google Docs and persuasive storytelling.
  • Previous consulting experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, or Jaggaer is a solid predictor of success.
  • Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and passionate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
