Description

  • Prospect for new business and build a qualified sales pipeline for Coupa's spend management solutions.
  • Own a territory and meet or exceed sales quotas while driving new business results.
  • Qualify opportunities from initial discovery through contract award.
  • Work with Account Development Representatives to qualify leads and develop pipeline.
  • Engage stakeholders across departments and levels to identify pain points and decision-makers.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans for target prospects and accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by addressing objections and providing thought leadership to prospects.
  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and Coupa partners to create joint vision roadmaps and demonstrate value.
  • Close deals with mid-market customers and support revenue growth in the segment.

Requirements

  • Strong, demonstrable experience in software sales with mid-market customers.
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing deals.
  • Proven track record of proactively hunting for new business opportunities.
  • Executive presence, self-motivation, and resilience.
  • Experience selling business value to Finance and Business customers.
  • Ability to build ROI and TCO-based value cases rather than focusing only on product features.
  • Experience selling cloud-based solutions is implied by the role's scope.
  • Comfort working with prospective customers up to USD 1 billion in revenue.
  • Commission-eligible quota-carrying sales experience is expected.
