Description

  • Contribute to sales strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client base and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage, hire, coach, develop, promote, retain, and engage Business Development Managers and Senior Business Development Managers.
  • Maintain knowledge of the FX market, compliance, legislation, and broader business and economic trends to anticipate client needs.
  • Use market data and Convera’s value proposition to identify new leads and build a continuous pipeline.
  • Achieve and report on KPIs, including revenue targets, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Develop long-term sales strategies with key partners to drive revenue growth and retention.
  • Proactively source new business through cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and partnerships.
  • Introduce relevant support functions such as CRM and Corporate Hedging Manager support to clients.
  • Lead negotiations with senior stakeholders at large organizations and secure profitable agreements.
  • Track performance metrics and use sales tools such as Salesforce to measure success.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the Foreign Exchange (FX) or B2B payments industry is required for this senior leadership role.
  • Approximately 7+ years of B2B sales experience in international payments or financial services.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in FX, including knowledge of financial market instruments such as spot, forwards, and derivatives.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate gatekeepers and influence C-suite relationships.
  • Strong sales management, business acumen, and strategic account management skills.
  • Knowledge of international payments and foreign exchange products.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and Highspot, as well as MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
