Description

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS (Zoho People), procedure manuals, policies, and internal wiki pages.
  • Support People Operations projects, including automation, process improvements, policy updates, diversity initiatives, and organisational changes.
  • Help ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations across global people operations practices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for recruitment and liaise with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources or People Operations functions.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency with HRIS software and other HR technology, such as applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of People Operations processes, regulations, and systems in Canada, France, or the UK.
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (desirable).
  • French language proficiency (desirable).
