Description

  • Run a weekly call-review cadence across deal stages and surface coaching priorities to management.
  • Operate enterprise deal rooms by joining calls live or asynchronously to diagnose blockers and coach AEs on next steps.
  • Own the continuous learning calendar with biweekly sessions on sales methodology, objection handling, competitive positioning, and product updates.
  • Build and maintain the sales mechanics playbook, including mutual action plan templates, discovery frameworks, and late-stage objection guides.
  • Track AE performance trends and identify reps who need targeted coaching before issues compound.
  • Review and coach live deals in a credible, hands-on way that supports immediate rep performance.
  • Partner with onboarding, technical enablement, product marketing, and revenue excellence teams to improve curriculum, collateral, and team structure.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of enterprise AE experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment.
  • Experience in frontline sales leadership, sales enablement, or coaching high-performing B2B sales teams is strongly preferred.
  • Sold at CoLab already, or willingness to spend a full quarter in the field before assuming the role.
  • Strong coaching instinct with the ability to diagnose call issues and coach reps 1:1 and in groups.
  • Comfort facilitating in front of 20–50 reps and holding the room.
  • Analytical orientation with the ability to build scorecards, track trends, and present findings.
  • Deep fluency in modern sales methodology and qualification frameworks, including MEDDPICC and the 3 Whys.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a call-recording or conversation-intelligence tool like Gong.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation skills, and the ability to simplify complex topics for stakeholders.
  • Added plus: background, degree, or deep understanding of Mechanical Engineering, CAD systems, or PLM data architecture.
  • Added plus: experience with the wider field tech stack, including ZoomInfo, Rattle, or Outreach.
  • Added plus: experience incorporating AI productivity tools like ChatGPT and Claude into workflows or enablement programming.
  • Added plus: familiarity with sales frameworks such as Sandler, Challenger, or Command of the Message.
  • Added plus: prior experience in rapid-growth B2B SaaS, manufacturing tech, or complex enterprise software environments.
