Description

Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor on building with Coinbase services and APIs.
Collaborate with prospects and sales teams to address technical requirements and help close deals.
Architect and implement distributed systems solutions for complex customer needs.
Build and maintain open source SDKs and reference implementations.
Deliver clear technical presentations and documentation.
Oversee customer implementations and resolve technical roadblocks proactively.
Maintain long-term customer relationships as their use of Coinbase products expands.
Work with product and engineering teams to extend core capabilities for strategic client opportunities.
Collaborate with support teams to ensure customer success.

Requirements

Degree in computer science and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Ability to quickly understand requirements and rapidly develop solutions.
Proven ability to design and build solutions to complex, ambiguous problems with significant impact.
Familiarity with both modern and legacy integration approaches.
Track record of working effectively with demanding cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex needs into actionable recommendations.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.
Experience leveraging AI to scale and enhance contributions.
Expert-level knowledge of REST and WebSocket APIs.
Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs.
Experience with Golang and/or Ruby (preferred).
Experience with blockchains / crypto (preferred).
Experience with trading systems (preferred).

Benefits

Annual base salary range of $180,370 to $212,200 USD, depending on location.
Equity and bonus eligibility.
