Description

  • Design, execute, and maintain functional and automated tests for critical applications.
  • Automate test cases using Java, Selenium, and the Screenplay pattern.
  • Implement automation solutions using Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
  • Design and execute REST and SOAP API tests using Karate and related tools.
  • Perform manual functional validations using Bruno and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Design and run performance and load tests with JMeter, including results and metrics analysis.
  • Validate security requirements using OWASP-based testing practices.
  • Manage defects, test cases, and user stories in JIRA.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use AI-based tools such as GitHub Copilot to optimize test script development and maintenance.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or in similar roles.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in test automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Selenium.
  • Experience applying the Screenplay pattern for test automation.
  • Experience with Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin under a BDD approach.
  • Experience testing REST and SOAP services using Karate or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of API validation with Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Experience validating responses, status codes, and payloads from services.
  • Experience executing functional, exploratory, smoke, and regression testing.
  • Knowledge of test levels including unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using JIRA to track stories, defects, and test execution.
  • Knowledge of quality metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and execution times.
  • Experience designing and executing load and performance tests with JMeter.
  • Knowledge of security testing principles including OWASP, authentication, authorization, session management, and sensitive data protection.
  • Preferred: 1 to 2 years of experience in financial services, banking, payments, transfers, cards, or loans.
  • Preferred: Experience validating financial transactions and critical business flows.
  • Preferred: Experience validating batch files and high-volume transaction reports.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred: Experience with cross-browser and mobile device testing.
  • Preferred: Experience using BrowserStack or similar tools for testing on real devices.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI tools applied to software quality and automation.
