Description

  • Design and build scalable Python APIs and microservices on AWS using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into backend systems, including LLM endpoints and RAG workflows.
  • Optimize database operations across PostgreSQL/MySQL on AWS RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Write unit and integration tests with pytest and maintain API documentation.
  • Collaborate with US-based stakeholders and engineers in daily standups, sprint reviews, and planning discussions.
  • Monitor production systems with AWS CloudWatch and resolve bugs and performance issues.
  • Refactor backend code to improve execution, reliability, and developer efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional backend software engineering experience with Python.
  • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and supporting serverless and containerized services on AWS.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Docker and modern Git workflows.
  • Practical exposure to AI/GenAI workflows, such as LLM APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Amazon Bedrock.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design with PostgreSQL or MySQL and basic NoSQL concepts.
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1 written and verbal).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working knowledge or basic familiarity with Java / Spring Boot is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code is a plus.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions, is a plus.
