Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build secure, multi-tenant environments and integrate external services through SDKs.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems using PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and deployment workflows.
  • Implement integration testing against real databases and failure-mode or fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
  • Apply software development best practices and take ownership of deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building low-latency AWS services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security.
  • Experience with secure multi-tenant systems, raw SQL, and schema migrations such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development.
  • Strong testing practices, including real-database integration tests and fault-injection testing.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD applications and working with large, complex systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ability to overlap US business hours, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused, accountable approach.
  • Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models (preferred).
  • Experience with Fastify, schema-first validation such as Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains (preferred).
