Description

  • Design and develop low-latency, scalable RESTful API services in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and integrate external services through SDKs.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL/AuroraDB schemas, migrations, and Row-Level Security policies.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and workflows.
  • Implement strong testing practices, including database integration and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver high-quality project commitments.
  • Work across complex systems while applying software development best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and low-latency AWS services.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, Row-Level Security, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant environments and integrating external SDKs.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience with integration testing against real databases and failure-mode testing.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD applications and using AI coding assistants in daily development.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and client-focused teamwork.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and adherence to development best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
