Description

  • Lead complex cloud services engagements and maintain trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Monitor scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, quality, client satisfaction, and delivery commitments; drive corrective action when needed.
  • Lead client escalations, executive briefings, QBRs, workshops, and transition discussions.
  • Partner with Sales and pre-sales teams to conduct discovery, shape solutions, and develop executable scopes of work, estimates, pricing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate cloud engineering and cybersecurity concepts into clear recommendations for clients, executives, sellers, and delivery teams.
  • Establish and implement engineering standards, governance, quality controls, technical readiness practices, and operational processes.
  • Build scalable playbooks and operating models that improve consistency, predictability, documentation, and delivery quality.
  • Lead training, onboarding, performance management, career development, succession planning, and subcontractor qualification.
  • Provide capacity, staffing, utilization, skills, dependency, and delivery-readiness inputs to operational and cross-functional teams.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, customer feedback loops, thought leadership, presentations, blogging, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, cloud engineering, strategy, or leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cloud engineering, security engineering, consulting, or managed services delivery teams.
  • Experience managing managers, architects, senior engineers, and technical workstreams across multiple engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security controls, vulnerability management, operations, and delivery governance.
  • Experience establishing delivery standards, quality controls, backlog discipline, capacity requirements, and escalation recovery processes.
  • Experience supporting sales lifecycles, validating technical scopes and commercial inputs, and translating engineering effort into pricing.
  • Strong client communication, executive communication, technical judgment, prioritization, and people-leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to improve customer satisfaction, security adoption, retention, and operational performance.
  • Experience with public speaking, conference presentations, blogging, cybersecurity evangelism, and community engagement.
  • Relevant AWS, Azure, GCP, ITIL, TOGAF, or related certifications preferred.
