Description

  • Own end-to-end operational oversight of Clover’s dental benefit across core functions.
  • Monitor and manage eligibility and benefits configuration, claims processing, call center support, billing, ID cards, provider payments, appeals and grievances, and prior authorizations.
  • Establish, track, and report on service level agreements and key performance indicators across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for operational performance, including issue identification, root cause analysis, and timely resolution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
  • Lead regular business reviews with vendors and cross-functional partners to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and member and provider experience.
  • Support implementation activities for benefits and operational changes and ensure operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and governance structures to support scalable operations.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in dental or healthcare operations, ideally in a dental benefit administrator, health plan, or vendor environment.
  • Experience overseeing end-to-end operational functions such as claims, call center, billing, or prior authorizations.
  • Strong vendor management experience and SLA oversight experience.
  • Solid understanding of dental benefits, claims processing, and operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive resolution.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and building structure where needed.
  • Experience with or exposure to benefits implementation or operational change management is preferred.
