Description

  • Own cloud infrastructure end-to-end across multiple cloud environments while remaining hands-on with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Own the SDLC platform surface area, including development environments, lower environments, release mechanics, monitoring, and response.
  • Build infrastructure that enables safe AI-driven observation, decision-making, and action on business systems.
  • Create deployment and support rails for AI-assisted applications and non-traditional contributors so they can ship safely without creating operational risk.
  • Participate in security operations with the SecOps team on CSPM, threat management, and patch management remediations.
  • Frame infrastructure decisions in terms of business outcomes and make tradeoffs visible to leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small high-impact team.
  • Partner as a peer with SecOps, Data, IT Systems, and App Engineering leaders to align technical direction across the organization.

Requirements

  • Engineering background with deep, hands-on experience operating production infrastructure across at least two major clouds: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with modern infrastructure-as-code, such as Terraform or similar tools.
  • Experience building and operating modern CI/CD systems, development environments, and observability stacks.
  • Experience operating infrastructure across different company sizes and business contexts.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services is helpful but not required.
  • Strong point of view on platform philosophy, including when to standardize, when to give teams room, and how to make the safe path the easy path.
  • Experience shipping AI-native operational systems, such as alert triage, RCA drafting, cost management, or runbook execution.
  • Action-oriented approach to governance and security, with a bias toward documentation and automation.
  • Proven experience building and developing teams, including hiring for gaps and investing in growth.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s or other education, work experience, and certifications may factor into compensation.
  • Willingness to work remotely, as the role is marked #LI-Remote.
