Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of back-end features focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to architectural evaluations and technical strategy decisions.
  • Define and uphold coding standards, best practices, and testing strategies.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Drive performance optimization to improve scalability and security.
  • Own complex back-end deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Provide technical estimates and support sprint planning, milestone tracking, deployment, and release management.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and translate business needs into technical implementations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, feasibility assessments, and support pre-sales activities.
  • Mentor colleagues and help lead technical initiatives and proof-of-concept work.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of extensive back-end development experience.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major back-end language such as Java, Kotlin, .NET, or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, including query optimization and schema design.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and managed databases.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and system reliability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS, Java, or cloud architecture certifications are advantageous.
