Description

  • Translate product stories and acceptance criteria into layered test strategies spanning unit, API-contract, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end flows for a modern React/Vite web application using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Cover REST APIs with contract tests and behavior tests using pytest and HTTP clients such as Postman, Bruno, and httpx.
  • Verify constraint-based and optimization behavior through scenario-based tests to validate feasibility and resource-fit rules.
  • Validate multi-tenant isolation, role-based access control, and OIDC/OAuth2 flows to protect tenant data integrity and security.
  • Build and maintain lightweight exploratory and session-based testing practices to catch edge cases missed by scripted tests.
  • Run root cause analysis on production and staging defects and document reproducible evidence and fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the testing pyramid with hands-on experience in functional and non-functional testing.
  • Expertise in test automation for modern web applications, with Playwright preferred or Cypress accepted.
  • Proficiency in REST API testing using contract-first tooling and the ability to design tests from an OpenAPI specification.
  • Strong SQL/PostgreSQL skills for writing complex queries and validating data.
  • Comfort working with modern issue trackers, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience testing constraint and optimization systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python and pytest is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS testing and accessibility testing to WCAG 2.1 AA is a plus.
  • Experience with performance/load testing and event-driven or async workflow testing is a plus.
