Description

  • Lead quality assurance across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze requirements and technical documentation to identify quality risks and define test coverage.
  • Define and evolve QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and release criteria.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to align requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality expectations.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for backend services, REST APIs, AI-related components, and system integrations.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously expand automation coverage.
  • Investigate defects, analyze failures, and support root cause analysis across distributed systems.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, quality reporting, and continuous improvement of automation practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles with end-to-end ownership of test automation and QA activities.
  • Strong experience with backend and non-UI-focused test automation.
  • Experience defining QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and test coverage for complex systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience testing REST APIs, backend services, and complex system integrations.
  • Experience designing automated test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience testing distributed systems and microservices.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized test environments.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify quality risks.
  • Engineering mindset with strong ownership, a high degree of autonomy, and a proactive approach to test automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level.
  • Experience testing AI/LLM-based applications is desirable.
  • Keen interest in AI technologies and a solid understanding of AI and LLM fundamentals is desirable.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Azure/AWS is desirable.
