Description

  • Define and maintain the architectural vision and blueprints for scalable, distributed, highly available systems.
  • Establish technical standards, coding guidelines, and architectural guardrails across engineering squads.
  • Lead evaluation, prototyping, and selection of tools, platforms, frameworks, and architecture approaches.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Security Officers, and Engineering Leads to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and root cause analyses to address bottlenecks, latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
  • Champion engineering excellence by mentoring Tech Leads and Senior Developers.
  • Manage technical debt while driving modernization of enterprise systems.
  • Support governance and decision-making for cloud-native, secure, and resilient architecture initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in a dedicated System Architect or Principal Engineer role.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Hands-on experience architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with serverless computing, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.
  • Proven ability to design secure systems with OAuth/OIDC, data encryption, and network security layers.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with fluent verbal and written communication.
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD automation, service meshes such as Istio, and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK stack (preferred).
  • Experience applying the Strangler Fig pattern to migrate legacy monoliths to modern architectures (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or high-scale AI infrastructure pipelines (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF (preferred).
