Description

  • Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure architectures across backend and frontend systems.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the organization’s technology architecture and align it with business strategy.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions meet architectural standards.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies and assess their impact on the technology architecture.
  • Lead proof-of-concept development to validate new technologies and approaches.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate technical standards and best practices.
  • Act as a technical advisor to project teams and provide ongoing guidance and support.
  • Lead development teams and manage technical projects to successful delivery.
  • Work with external clients to understand their needs and lead product or solution demos.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
  • Hands-on software architecture experience across backend and frontend systems.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, service boundaries, and scalable application architectures.
  • Experience designing high-performance web applications with clear separation of presentation, application, and data layers.
  • Experience with complex cloud architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
  • Proficient in creating detailed architectural diagrams and documentation.
  • Strong written and oral communication, cross-organizational, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant years of work experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React or similar modern frameworks.
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with containerized applications such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Nice to have: experience with high-traffic, large-scale applications and distributed systems.
  • Nice to have: experience with event-driven or message-based architectures such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Kinesis.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
