Description

  • Develop and evolve Golang APIs and backend services for a high-volume environment.
  • Design and implement microservices with a focus on scalability, observability, and engineering best practices.
  • Maintain and improve critical backend services to ensure performance, resilience, and quality.
  • Collaborate with product, frontend, mobile, data, SRE, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Work with synchronous and asynchronous service communication using messaging and event-driven patterns.
  • Optimize backend performance through profiling and code improvements.
  • Apply security best practices for APIs and sensitive data protection.
  • Contribute to cloud-native operations using containers, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support the reliability of distributed systems through monitoring, alerting, SLOs, SLA awareness, and runbooks.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Golang and best practices for structuring projects.
  • Strong understanding of Go concurrency, including goroutines, channels, context, mutexes, and worker pools.
  • Experience building robust REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with profiling tools and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with high-transaction microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with messaging or event-based communication such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including data modeling, transactions, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and caching technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
  • Basic knowledge of LGPD and secure software development practices.
  • Strong knowledge of gRPC for high-performance service communication is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Delivery, Logistics, or high-transaction Fintech environments is a plus.
