Description

  • Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Write and maintain unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
  • Deploy code to production environments and support smooth releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.
  • Identify and resolve issues to improve application robustness and security.
  • Follow coding standards and best practices to deliver clean, maintainable, efficient code.
  • Adapt to different areas of the application as needed.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and use Jira for tracking work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Back-End Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Extensive experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
  • Strong understanding of deployment pipelines and release processes.
  • Experience with RabbitMQ or Azure Event Hub.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and either MongoDB or CosmosDB with Mongo API.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as New Relic or similar.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have: experience with Istio and Kubernetes, Redis, and CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD.
