Description

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain new and existing backend applications.
  • Produce and ship high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Co-own the services architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers.
  • Take part in shaping the banking product and how it serves a growing user base.
  • Contribute technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
  • Work on one feature at a time within a cross-functional team structure.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience with Golang.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns used in large, high-scale web applications.
  • Pragmatic, product-driven approach to solving customer problems.
  • Strong code quality, testing, and code review practices.
  • Curiosity and openness to learning new things.
  • Good communication skills and comfort working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work from Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain, or willingness to relocate there.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Cursor or Copilot is a plus.
