Description

  • Support CIM’s fundraising campaigns across real estate, infrastructure, and debt offerings.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Product teams to coordinate distribution efforts.
  • Initiate and manage marketing, sales, and service support initiatives with sales leadership, wholesalers, and support staff.
  • Cultivate new broker-dealer partnerships and expand relationships with existing strategic partners.
  • Travel to broker-dealer home offices to identify sales opportunities, secure product approvals, and strengthen relationships.
  • Deliver sponsor reviews to clients covering firm updates, wholesaler activity, platform availability, sales performance, and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and attend broker-dealer and industry conferences, then identify follow-up opportunities and provide recaps.
  • Educate financial advisors on CIM Group and its available product offerings.
  • Share best practices with the sales team to improve advisor engagement and sales process efficiency.
  • Maintain current knowledge of CIM Group’s campaigns, websites, value-add offerings, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with a strong understanding of relationship management and product management.
  • Experience working with financial advisors and broker/dealers.
  • Experience with National Wirehouses and some experience working with banks.
  • Industry experience in commercial real estate or financial services is a plus.
  • Active FINRA licenses, including Series 7 and Series 63.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in negotiation and pricing discussions.
  • Extensive travel required, approximately 30% or more if not located in the NY Metro area.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce is required.
  • Field experience, either internal or external, is a plus.
