Description

  • Drive enterprise account strategy alongside account executives by mapping target accounts and identifying entry points across security, platform, and engineering teams.
  • Run highly personalized, technical outbound outreach to developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
  • Research how companies build and ship software, including containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments, to make outreach relevant and credible.
  • Lead early conversations by qualifying opportunities based on technical context, risk posture, and business priorities.
  • Build pipeline opportunities that move forward, prioritizing quality over quantity.
  • Collaborate with enterprise account executives on account plans, messaging, and deal progression.
  • Use Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, and data tools to execute outreach efficiently.
  • Test messaging, share insights, and help refine market engagement strategies.
  • Bring feedback from customer conversations back to marketing and product teams, especially around what resonates with technical buyers.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a BDR or SDR, ideally with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, not just inbound qualification.
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders within technical or complex organizations.
  • Strong writing skills with an emphasis on personalized, relevant outreach.
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn how modern software and security work.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building your own approach.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar tools.
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline targets.
