Description

  • Lead solution design for complex projects across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Provide technical oversight and serve as escalation support for a portfolio of projects.
  • Drive development of professional services best practices, knowledge base content, reference architectures, and methodology.
  • Provide architectural oversight and design validation for partners.
  • Review designs and implementations for internal and partner deployments and provide improvement feedback.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SASE and adoption best practices.
  • Contribute content and oversight for best-practice and training creation.
  • Act as a liaison to Product Management for product feedback, customer engagements, and roadmap enhancements.
  • Support customer success with deployment scoping and technical planning.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams across Sales, Customer Success, R&D, and Support Engineering.
  • Synthesize field learnings and trends into repeatable technology best practices.
  • Maintain deep implementation expertise across Cato products and customer onboarding training.
  • Foster collaboration with product, support, and engineering teams and relay field feedback on features and functionality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-vendor network or security infrastructure role as an architect or senior engineer, with responsibility for solution design and/or implementation.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in routing and switching, plus experience in at least 3 of the following areas: SD-WAN, firewall/proxy, Secure Web Gateway/CASB/DLP, identity management, IPS, load balancing, networking protocol analysis, WAN/MPLS, API and AI security gateways, or Kubernetes deployment and management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, professional services, pre-sales, or managed services for a high-tech software or technology vendor.
  • Experience creating high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD and LLD).
  • Experience designing and managing network infrastructure with at least one major public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to web-based APIs and scripting languages.
  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels and earn trusted-advisor status.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with AI tooling for work optimization, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in a geographically distributed team within a hypergrowth global organization.
  • Industry-recognized network vendor certification is a plus.
  • Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
